Some pictures of our Sunday-out in Belgium. Now, the terrain was difficult and it was a bit crowded but it was still good fun, and my first time in the world of Airsoft.
Yep, that's me in full gear. Although not yet complete ( my own weapon isn't finished yet and the M-249 i was supposed to carry was out of buisness ) it's pretty much what i wear at a skirm.
Making new friends is easy in this kind of hobby, all we talk about is weapons...how cool is that!
Okay, i'm not taking a dump here, but at this point four dudes, with shields, move toward m with BB's ( the ammo ) flying over my head. My teammate Jeroen
was allready hit. I contact my leader ( Erwin ) on my Porto as his position is behind me and higher up. He said, take a run for it...wich i did, and it paid off!
Here we are, after regrouping, waiting to lure the enemy in our trap. The first game was conquer the flag. Totally cool because after a few minutes, this dude breaks trough our lines, captures our flag and forgets to take it back to the endzone...he got hit about 200 times at that moment. Stunned by dissbelief he goes : So we didn't win??? LMAO!!!
Here i tell my teamleader to give me covering fire as i intend to shift foreward to take controll of a sector in our defense. This is easier said as done because in the middle there's a sniper tower who allready took out some of the guys on our side...and i don't wanna be next!
We decide on three...he'll shoot at the tower, forcing the sniper down, giving me ample chance to run the 150 meters to my defensive position.
Damn, i never run this quick...and it was to no avail to, the sniper never got me, but the Barn on my right was heavily defended with machine guns...my position gets compromised and i get shot...and i then realize that Airsoft does hurt!!!
The team, from left to right : Peter, Jeroen, Erik, Erwin and me!
It was a fun day, bit cold, but dry. As i said before, i don't think were going back to this terrain annytime soon.
Well, i hope you enjoyed the show, i did!
